A grown-up story about growing up! When his parents get divorced and he's forced to move from New York to a small
town in Indiana, Evan Goldman just wants to make friends and survive the school
year. Easier said than done. With an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert
Brown, 13 is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages about
discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometimes where you least
expect it.
Performs June 24th - 26th.

An original play from Artistic
Director Brian Fauth, All These Will Be Worthless was conceived last fall by the
Limelight Young Writers Ensemble. Depicting the story of two sisters growing up
in the 1980s at the end of the Cold War, the show will also feature original
music and songs performed by Limelight's Chelsey Walker. Includes memorable roles for both younger and
older performers (ages 10 - adult) and continues Limelight's core mission of producing original
works of theatre.
Performs July 7th - 10th.

You're a Good
Man, Charlie Brown opened on March 7, 1967 and played for
1,597 performances in New York at the theatre 80 St. Marks. The revised
edition (which Limelight is producing) opened on Broadway in 1999. It
is a fresh approach to the all-time 1967 classic. Sally Brown joins
Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder and Snoopy in this version. Two
new songs, "Beethoven Day" and "My New Philosophy", have been
added to the twelve wonderful numbers of the original version, such as "My
Blanket and Me", "The Kite", "The Baseball Game", "Little Known Facts",
"Suppertime", and "Happiness."
Performs July 22nd - 24th.

*Due to possible
District 308 budget cuts, all K-8 buildings may be closed for the month
of July. A final performance date for this production will be set once
we know the status of our access at Bednarcik Junior High.
A
tongue-in-cheek "clip show"
featuring classic bits and original skits from Limelight's imaginary
"50"years
as a theatre company. This will perform
for one-night only as a special ticketed event with limited seating.
Performers will be chosen from the current
summer ensemble and those from past Limelight productions.
Date and Location for this show is TBA; tentatively, it is scheduled for July 16th and 17th at OEHS.
Most auditions and rehearsals will be held at Bednarcik Jr. High. 13's auditions will be held in a location TBA. We will list all official locations for auditions, rehearsals, and performances once we know how the status of the District 308 building closings will affect Limelight.
