Wonderful Wizard of Oz Reading Workshop - Session #1
Follow the Yellow Brick Road...
...and join the Limelight Theatre Company this year as we
venture into the land of Oz. In step with Limelight’s legacy of creating
original work, we will be trekking through L. Frank Baum’s classic world with
Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to create an all
original show based upon this timeless tale. Before the writing process
can begin we need to pull the story apart, research characters and settings, annotate
like crazy and develop a stellar plot. During this three day workshop we
will map out a basic plot, create character breakdowns and analyses, connect
events and plot points, and imagine, constantly thinking outside of the box.
