Limelight first performed It's a Wonderful Life as a radio play on December 15th, 2006. Actors dressed in 1940s-style clothing stood in front of microphones and performed multiple characters while a live sound effects team performed every footstep, every door opening, and every ringing of a bell.
Due to popular demand, Limelight once again presented It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play the following holiday season, with a slightly different lineup of actors and sound effects performers.
