Rehearsals: Sundays & Wednesdays (Cast members will only need to come one of two days)
Performances: March 9 & 10 at 7pm
We are very excited about the Winter One-Acts. Instead of performing one story, we will be doing a collection of short plays (or one-acts). There will be 12 plays and each will be related to one of the months of the year. These scenes will be written and directed by Brian Brems and Cori Veverka, with the help of some of our incredibly talented Limelight veterans. This one-act format allows many actors to be involved and to have more substantial parts in shorter scenes. We are also excited about this type of play because it lets us cut down on the amount of time that each individual needs to commit to rehearsals. We are hoping to have actors come only one or two nights a week (prior to show week), rather than three.
Thank you, again, to everyone who auditioned. We had a lot of fun watching your Callbacks and we are incredibly excited about this show. We have attached the rehearsal schedule (in both list and calendar form). Actors will receive scripts and be assigned parts at their first rehearsals. Cast B will begin this Sunday, Jan 29th and Cast C will begin on Wednesday, Feb 1st. We will all come together the week before the show to rehearse together and work with both directors.
Based on the number of people who auditioned and the nature of the show, we have single cast the show, so all actors will be performing in both shows (March 9th & 10th). If anyone has conflicts with either of these dates, please let us know ASAP so we can make the necessary arrangements.
You will need to register for this show with the Oswegoland Park District and pay the $59 registration fee. The course number is #29697. You can register by calling 630.554.1010, going into one of the park district buildings, or visiting their website. We will also have the registration forms at the first rehearsal, if you would like to fill one out on Sunday/Wednesday and pay by cash or check (made out to the Oswegoland Park District).
