Renee has been a part of Limelight since the summer of 2002, when she played a pretty unconvincing bitter, tragic puritan woman in The Crucible and a much more convincing seventh-grade-girl-playing-a bitter, tragic mafia woman in Leave the Gun, Take the Cannoli ’02. Her history is mostly made up of acting credits but she’s also dabbled in the more technical side of the company, including the teaching and co-teaching of two Act it Out sessions.
In 2009 Renee took over the graphic design work for Limelight and—after a brief hiatus—is still at it. From organizing the house one summer, to Bird Girl construction, to graffiting the “Berlin Wall” until the tip of her index finger went numb for three months, she has served as one of the resident “sure, I’ll do that” people who can always find work somewhere in the company.
