Hollywood, 1934! Director Bill McAllan is hard at work on his new talking picture, If They Were Free, when change comes to the movies in the person of Joseph Callahan, the head of the Production Code Administration. Callahan has some ideas of his own about the picture, and the cast of beautiful stars and hardworking crew members must band together to make the movie as they see fit.
