Get to know Diana Nevills!
Diana is one of the founding members of the Limelight Theatre Company. She started as an actress, writer, and assistant director on some of Limelight’s earliest productions. We are always thrilled when she is able to share her skills as a musician and educator with us!
We asked her a few questions, and here is what she had to say…
Briefly list your education/experience in theater:
Founding member of Limelight Theater Company, Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from DePaul University, Music Education Certification from DePaul University
What are you most excited about sharing with Limelight participants?
Sharing singing and funny moments with those quirky musical theater kids!
What do you like most about theater?
Theater can happen anywhere with anyone with anything. Its possibilities and opportunities are endless. The best feeling is when you finish a powerful performance and feel transformed or inspired.
Which Limelight productions have you been a part of?
Directed James and the Giant Peach in 2011 and Once On This Island in 2013.

What is your dream role?
Miss Hanigan in Annie or Judas from Jesus Christ Superstar.

Whatever universe Björk lives in would be great.
